  Dutch floor lamp designed in 1918 for the exclusive department store Metz & Co. Monumental yet feminin at the same time. This lamp has been displayed at the exhibition of "Aesthetisch Uitgevoerde Gebruiksvoorwerpen" held at the Museum voor Kunstnijverheid in Haarlem. Cornelis Veth (publicist) praise this design for its "organic created columns" referring to the 3 stands of the lampfoot. The lamp-shade is not original. A picture of this lamp is documented in a book: Paul Bromberg, binnenhuisarchitect en publicist 1893/1949. (written by: Monique Teunissen). Included in the collection of the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. Origin: Dutch.
