Kho Liang Ie settee
Rare settee designed by the famous Dutch designer Kho Liang Ie for Artifort. This settee is very hard to find because it is manifactured for only a short period of time, being; 1962-1963. The original purple/blue "Ploeg" upholstery is still in a fair and good condition and has one recover point on the upside of the backrest. Offcourse it is easy to re-upholster this sofa but then again its originality will be gone and it will be less worth in the long run. That's why we have decided to keep it this way. The integrated teak table can be placed on the left- or right side of the sofa. The heavy black metal frame has six feet which will makes sure it will stay stable at all times. When seated you will know that this settee is not only to look at but even more great to sit in. This settee came on the market with the serial number 072-077 which also became the name of this design. Because the sofa originaly was designed for office locations it has a high finish on all sides and therefor it can be placed in the middle of a room. Dimensions: W x D x H = 200 x 90 x 80 cm. Origin: Dutch. Year: 1962
Enameled metal frame, Wool, Teak and wood
