Frits Spanjaard (Sold)
Very rare centre table made and designed by: Frits Spanjaard. This table, of which there are made (problably) two, is designed for a relative L. Spanjaard in Amsterdam. This version we purchased from the family of Frits Spanjaard and was problably his own. Both tables are displayed in the book: De Haagse Stijl. Author: Timo de Rijk, on page 98 and 99. The picture shown on our site is the livingroom of his own house in Wassenaar 1927, in which the table is the centre piece. His designs on that point of his life are strongly influenced by the fine arts of "de Stijl". In this table particular you can see the hard lines with exstended parts. This table is in its original condition. So there are no parts restored or replaced. Year: 1926/1927. origin: Dutch. Dimensions: L x D x H = 100 x 46 x 46 cm.
